Ch-ch-changes!

Happy Monday! As you may notice there are some changes to your child's normal homework that they are bringing home.  We have officially begun into Unit 1 of our new reading series and along with that there are some changes to our daily homework.

Think-Tac-Toe will come home on Mondays and an assignment will be due each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  On Thursdays I will send home a poem for students to find the blends. Below is this week's Think-Tac-Toe.

There are now 8 words that students will learn on Monday and the last last two will be dictated on the day of the spelling test.  Students will know the pattern and be able to apply what they know from our working with words throughout the week.

Oral Presentations:

Students brought home a calendar explaining this oral communication project over a week ago.  1 student came prepared for the presentation.  Students do not have to write anything if they are able to remember what they practiced.  Please make sure that your student is prepared.  I have attached the calendar for reference if you need it.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
